Recent participants are Doing a great job!

Wow! There's be a big surge in folks signing up for the project recently. There were about 100-200 signups a day, for  a few days.  Then things slowed down to a more manageable pace.

I've working hard to get all of the notes written, envelopes addressed and stamped, and sent to the post office.

One great part of this group, is that they've been so much better about letting me know when their envelopes arrive than the bigger surge last year. That one really drove me to almost complete burnout.

But not only has this group been great about helping with the data collection part of the project, they've also been super supportive. That goes a long way in helping me keep this project going.

In addition to getting all these letters out, I've been working on updating the interactive maps and data charts...and the story too! This is going to take me some time to get in shape. Also been improving my scripts (both in python and javascript), to make it easier for me to make updates and additions. Lots of code cleaning and organizing!
